THANK YOU for being a part of our village of support! Our volunteers are the hearbeat of our non-profit. We have a wide variety of a volunteer positions. Our Volunteers are the hands-on-operations of Foster Village Peoria. There are so many flexible and various ways to help!
Volunteering positions & opportunities: We have a large variety of volunteer roles & positions, with a flexible hours & ability. We can also give credit to students for community service hours. Below is just a few areas for volunteering-- but if you have a talent or passion you want to share, you can note that in the form below!

Ways to Volunteer:
- Volunteer on a Committee: Special Events Committee, Youth Events Committee, Board of Directors, Finance/ Audit Committee
- Volunteer in a Leadership Positions (5 hours a month): Openings include: Youth Connect Events Chair, Educational Workshop Coordinator, Marketing & Media, Donation Drive Coordinator, Communication & Newsletters.

Volunteer in a flexible/ As-you-can position (10 hours per year minimum):
- Visit room facility opener/closer: Stay on premise during visits between biological families. This position does not include supervising visits, but opening/ closing the facility, and sanitizing toys after visits. During the visit our visit room volunteer can hang out in the office and feel free to bring something to do, or do inventory in the RC.
- Resource Closet Program: Packing & Delivering Team signs up to packs welcome bags and deliver them to families in need in the local community. Volunteers can also work in the RC as part of inventory team, signing up to count inventory as they are able
- Cleaning Crew: Sign up to come in 1-2 times a month to clean our space, mainly dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Other volunteering: Share expertise in any area that you think can benefit us (marketing, grants, fundraising, sponsorships, etc) Or donate your time to give a talent like photography, art, etc to Foster Village Peoria.
- One-Time Volunteering as a group (do not need to attend a training, but should email info@FosterVillagePeoria.org to find out about group volunteer oppurtunities.
